Grapefruits are the familiar yellow fruit of a cultivated tree that often grows up to ten metres in height. Grapefruit essential oil is extracted from the fresh peel by cold expression. Grapefruit blends well with other citrus oils such as Lemon and Bergamot, as well as Geranium, Rosemary, Lavender and Neroli. Uses Essential Oils should not be used directly on the skin and should be combined with "Carrier Oils" and massaged into the skin or used as follows: Bathing: Add 5 to 10 drops directly to your bath Bath Oils: 2 drops of essential oil to a teaspoon of Carrier Oil added to your bath Sauna: Add 2-3 drops of oil to 500ml (17 fl.oz) water and add to the heat source Massage Oil: 2-3 drops in 1 teaspoon (5ml) of Carrier Oil Oil Burners: Few drops diluted with water Caution Do not use undiluted essential oils directly on the skin.
