Ylang Ylang oil is made from the flowers of the Cananga Odorata tree which grows up to twenty metres in height.

Ylang Ylang essential oil is produced by water or steam distillation of the freshly picked flowers. Yellow flowers are believed to yield the best oil, although pink or mauve flowers may also be used.

Ylang Ylang blends well with Sandalwood, Jasmine, Vetiver, Jamsine, Bergamot and Rose essential oils.

Our Ylang Ylang Essential Oil is produced in either Comores or Madagascar.

Uses

Essential Oils should not be used directly on the skin and should be combined with "Carrier Oils" and massaged into the skin or used as follows:

Bathing: Add 5 to 10 drops directly to your bath
Bath Oils: 2 drops of essential oil to a teaspoon of Carrier Oil added to your bath
Sauna: Add 2-3 drops of oil to 500ml (17 fl.oz) water and add to the heat source
Massage Oil: 2-3 drops in 1 teaspoon (5ml) of Carrier Oil
Oil Burners: Few drops diluted with water

Caution

Do not use undiluted essential oils directly on the skin.
